Kei Wa (Vivian) Van is a ceramicist and designer based between London and Macau. A graduate of Goldsmiths and Central Saint Martins, she works across wheel throwing, hand building and slip casting to create functional objects that invite slow, attentive use. Drawing on Song Dynasty aesthetics and Chinese landscape painting, her work explores how small shifts in gesture and form can change the way people relate to objects, to one another and to the world around them.
